Humanity
Acrylic on canvas - 18x16 in
2020 Final Work
This painting is based on the feeling of human connection. Using numerous vibrant colors I
aimed to portray the complexity within these relationships. The scatteredness of the
background represents the chaos within society.
Divergence
Prismacolor pencils - 18x18 in
2020 Final Work
This abstract composition displays the portraits of four football players at my school. I
wanted to capture the connection between teammates by overlapping each face, as well as
convey the distinctiveness of each player’s identity with underlining colors.

This drawing was intended to capture the intensity of relationships. Creating a depth of
color I aimed to portray human emotion. Blending numerous colors allowed me to explore
color theory.

This piece captures the illuminance of Black women and works to display divine beauty .
The detail within the braids illustrates the complexity of natural hairstyles. Capturing the
beauty of black women, I connected this illustration to jewels.
